Refund Policy

Effective Date: October 2025

At G3 Mechanical, our goal is to provide honest, high-quality plumbing and mechanical work with clear and fair policies. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds, cancellations, and credits may apply for services, materials, or deposits.

Section 1 — General Policy

All work performed by G3 Mechanical is completed in accordance with industry best practices and the BC Plumbing Code.
Because each job involves custom materials and on-site labour, refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
We are committed to resolving any legitimate issues fairly and promptly.

Section 2 — Deposits

For some projects, a deposit may be required before work begins or materials are ordered.

  • Deposits are non-refundable once non-returnable or custom-ordered materials have been purchased from wholesalers or suppliers.

  • If a supplier item arrives damaged and the client chooses not to proceed with a replacement, a refund may be issued only if the supplier provides a credit or refund for that item.

  • For smaller projects, deposits may be refundable if the client cancels with sufficient notice and materials have not yet been ordered.

Section 3 — Materials and Equipment

Materials purchased specifically for a project remain the property of G3 Mechanical until payment is received in full.
If a client cancels a scheduled job after materials have been ordered or delivered, the client may be responsible for:

  • Restocking fees charged by suppliers, and/or

  • The full cost of non-returnable materials.

Refunds for materials are subject to supplier return policies.

Section 4 — Completed Work

Once a project or service has been completed and tested, payments are considered final.
G3 Mechanical does not provide cash refunds for completed work.
If an issue arises with workmanship, we will return to the site free of charge to inspect and correct the problem within a reasonable time frame.
Manufacturer warranties apply to all materials and equipment supplied.

Section 5 — Service Calls and Diagnostics

For smaller service work such as drain clearing, leak repairs, or inspections, all service charges are non-refundable once the work has been performed.
If the issue persists or reoccurs, G3 Mechanical will return to the property to reassess and provide a follow-up solution at no additional charge when related to the original service.

Section 6 — Cancellations

Clients may cancel or reschedule work by providing reasonable notice before the scheduled service date.
If cancellation occurs within one business day of the scheduled work and materials have already been ordered, a partial refund may be issued after deducting any restocking fees or material costs.
Projects cancelled without notice may be subject to a service or mobilization fee.

Section 7 — Payment Methods and Refund Processing

G3 Mechanical accepts e-transfer, cheque, cash, and credit card payments.
Approved refunds will be issued through the same payment method originally used.
Processing times vary by payment provider and may take up to 10 business days.

Section 8 — Dispute Resolution

In the event of a billing concern, refund request, or service dispute, clients must first contact G3 Mechanical directly to allow an opportunity for resolution.
Chargebacks or third-party disputes should only be initiated after communication and review with our office.
We aim to resolve all matters fairly, quickly, and professionally.

Section 9 — Limitations

Refunds are not available for:

  • Completed work where materials or labour have been used;

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or alteration by anyone other than G3 Mechanical;

  • Work performed according to client-approved specifications that later require design changes.

Section 10 — Jurisdiction

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia.
Any disputes shall be handled in accordance with the laws and courts of British Columbia, Canada.
